Watch closely now, the storm is falling
All across the land.
The sea is churning as the mighty
Wind and rain begins.

Clean off the lens ... listen, too.
There may be someone call
And, in a storm, it's hard to hear
As breakers rise and fall!

Watch closely now, when lightning strikes;
Illuminates your view.
In just an instant, you may find
Something you can do!

Don't let that sinking soul go down!
Don't let the shouts be in vain!
Run and give them all the strength
You've found in Jesus' Name!

And when the storm is over,
When the rainbow's in full view ...
Watch close! It may be Jesus
Watching there, with you!
